A pencil is a thing that you write with and you use it in school and there is a eraser on pretty much all pencils and they are pink. Pencils are yellow or orange and some have designs like flowers,hearts, and happy birthday ones too. Some pencils have a number 2 at the top of the pencil. Pencils are used in all schools unless a classroom uses pens instead of pencils but with pens you can't erase.
